We had no idea 5 years ago what we were getting ourselves into. We had just made the decision to jump into full-time RV living and we had never even RV’d a day in our life. Our families thought we had lost our minds, heck we thought we might have lost our minds, but we were ready to take on this adventure together as a family.

Looking back now it was the best decision we’ve ever made and here’s why.
In 5 years, we have gotten to spend so much time together as a family. Austin and I have gotten to see our travels and adventures through Rudi and Arlo’s eyes. Rudi and Arlo have gotten to spend a big chunk of their childhood traveling, seeing more of our beautiful country than most people do in their whole lives. Together, as a family we have been on countless adventures, we’ve learned more about our country, and we’ve spent more time together than we ever could have imagined.
Camping and traveling in our RV has given us time, experiences, and memories that we will cherish forever. RVing has taught us how to slow down, appreciate simplicity, and how to enjoy the great outdoors. It has helped us understand that less is more. Less materialistic things allow more room for the things that truly matter. Rving has given us more time together and more time with loved ones that we weren’t able to visit before. RVing has helped us become resilient in the fact that things can go wrong or plans might have to change, but you adapt, overcome, and keep going.

So, when asked the simple question. “Has RV life changed your life?” YES!! Yes, it has. And we wildly believe that everyone should try it. You don’t have to necessarily live full-time in your rv like we do, but get one. Go camping, take that trip because if you do, you won’t be disappointed with the experience. It will bring you closer to your family, closer to nature, and closer to yourself.
